Fabric Arts Workshop

Now Booking for 2021-22

An interactive experience for young environmentalists and art appreciators! This workshop discusses water care through Indigenous cultural perspectives and community leadership initiatives. Students will learn about fabric art practice while collectively creating a water quilt. Participants are given the opportunity to design, sew, discuss and imagine a better future together. We all have a responsibility to appreciate and protect our earth for future generations!

A Moving Landscape

Dance Workshop

An interactive creation workshop for students interested in land and identity and the art of choreographic practice. Participants will be offered a lesson discussing the rich history of nature-inspired dance performance in Canada. Students will then be led through a creation workshop to invent a personal movement score that is inspired by each person's personal identity and the land where each student resides.
